San Diego Project Management, PSC, was in charge to relocate and increase the storage of diesel fuel for the emergency power generator of the VA Caribbean Medical Center at San Juan, PR. The project was to provide 10 days of fuel under emergency operation, with additional capacity being added through the use of fuel bladders; the total capacity of the fuel system will be 94,000 gallons of fuel. 

The project also includes a fuel maintenance system and coordination with the building information management system.  The fuel maintenance system has an extensive pressurized plumbing system that is controlled using the Trane Tracer Summit system and can be operated from the Hospital’s Graphic Control.
