Mr. Miguel Rivera…
…studied for a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez, which he completed in 2020.
While studying, he worked on different engineering projects, such as Capstone: Automated Plant Tissue Growth System on Jan 2020, where he designed and presented the control system responsible for automating and monitoring the Temporary Immersion Systems at the Agricultural Experiment Station in Isabela, Puerto Rico. Said design was realized with a PLC as the central controller, a stepper motor as the actuator, and an HMI for the user interface.
In 2019 he worked on the Design of a Biopotential Amplifier in a Biomedical Instrumentation Laboratory. Also, during that year, he collaborated on Tic-Tac-Toe vs. a Robotic Arm, For Robotics and Automation.
Currently, he is part of the San Diego Project Management, PSC crew of project engineers presently collaborating in the performing of Project Management tasks pertaining to the Preventive Maintenance – Circuit Breakers Project at VACHS, and Quality Control of the preventive maintenance of the currently and newly installed Siemens equipment in the hospital.
