The governor of Puerto Rico, Wanda Vázquez, promoted this Monday the Adjutant General of the Puerto Rico National Guard, José Juan Reyes, from Brigadier General to Major General's federal rank.

"The Adjutant General has taught what a public servant is. Since he took office in 2019, he has successfully attended to situations of storms, earthquakes, and pandemics. It was under his direction that when the earthquakes shook the southern area, they prepared the base camps for the affected people, " she said.
